Is This YOUR Ultimate Reality?
Title : Our Ultimate Reality - Life, the Universe, and the Destiny of Mankind
Author : Adrian Cooper
Comment :
One of the first things I did when I was 'recovering' from my recent bout of Bell's Palsy was to continue reading an ebook that, quite frankly, has staggered me.
Why?
Well...in my humble opinion - you're asking for trouble if you write a book about "Life, the Universe, and Everything"!
Believe me - in my five years online - I have NEVER before come across such a comprehensive, detailed, lucid, and 'ballsy' approach to how YOU can understand the spiritual side to YOUR life - use it to move forward - and NEVER look back.
To be frank...Adrian Cooper (the author) writes in far greater detail than I ever could.
His ebook - "Our Ultimate Reality" - is certainly not an 'easy' read.
BUT - the reason for this is that sometimes you need to work a little to get your brain around what he is saying.
And...it is certainly WELL worth sticking with - all 684 pages of it!
Yet - there is not a single sentence of 'fluff' in this entire ebook.
Of course - YOU may not agree with what Adrian has to say about "Life, the Universe, and the Destiny of Mankind" (I certainly didn't)...
But...it will definitely get you THINKING about WHY you are here...and WHAT steps you can take NOW to make so much MORE of your life than you currently are.
It's about time that someone actually stood up and put their reputation on the line to share with you his spiritual beliefs and techniques - at the same time as educating you about HOW everything 'fits together' from a spiritual standpoint.
This is certainly NOT a religious ebook (although it does explain how the world's religions fit into the wider SPIRITUAL understanding) as you will find out for yourself.
When you read through this ebook you will be taking the same breathtaking journey through the wonders of the 'hidden' world that many 'gurus' hint at yet never quite explain in enough detail that can make a difference.
That may sound dramatic but based on what I have been learning and applying over the last few months - it's certainly a journey that ALL successful people undertake whether they realize it or not!
"Our Ultimately Reality" contains 114 chapters within
three huge sections...
- Our Infinite Universe
- The Inner Realities
- Managing Your Destiny
It may be that some of the topics discussed may be a little 'out there' for some peoples' taste - but I can certainly say that MANY things 'fall into place' based upon my own personal spiritual journey over the last few months.
In short, a fantastic, comprehensive, and eye-opening 'encyclopedia' of the how and why of how living a more spiritual life can help YOU get what you really want from YOUR life.
If you always wanted a introduction to the spiritual side of life (without focusing solely on religion) - or you are just wanting to understand more about your inner self - then this is definitely for YOU.
"Our Ultimate Reality" comes with my highest recommendation.
I aim to have future discussions with Adrian in terms of his marketing and pricing of what I believe is a fascinating look into the spiritual side of success.
In my opinion - he is doing himself a disservice by under-pricing his ebook in comparison to some of the 'fluff' that's out there.
I strongly suggest that if you are the slightest bit interested you take a look for yourself before I persuade him to raise his price!
There is a 90-day guarantee so really you have nothing to lose - and everything to gain by immersing yourself in one of the best resources I have ever read on the subject.
I highly recommend that you click here now to find out more about it for yourself...

'Why-To'...And Less Of The Doing, Please!
Over the last few months I have begun to look more inside myself for what I really want from life.
My reading has progressed from 'how-to' to more 'why-to'!
By 'why-to' - I mean that I am spending more and more time focusing on ways to increase my awareness and understanding of the more spiritual side to life, as opposed to just finding ways to DO more.
The questions this reading throws up are not always easy to match up against the realities of paying the bills, however!
Of course...one of the reasons why I am treading a more spiritual path is to manifest more of what I WANT from my life...without having to WORK harder and longer for it to happen.
In a way - I suppose that I'm looking at a way to get what I want from life without having to sacrifice what I currently have.
Not an easy thing to do, that's for sure - but it CAN be done (that's also for sure!)
All of us are conditioned, it seems, from an early age to focus on the material side of 'wealth'...as opposed to the mental side.
Over the last few years I have got so much more enjoyment from DOING as opposed to BUYING that, quite often I wonder what I used to get out of my 'old' life!
Still...the DOING side doesn't necesssarily pay the bills (as this blog and my free "To Our Success" Ecourse proves!) - so that is why I am beginning to look at ways in which I can manifest more of what I 'need' in my life...so that I can focus more on doing what I 'want'!
Working alone in my office means that, quite often, I spend too much time for my own good listening to that voice inside my head...yet recently it has begun to agree with me that I should just carry on with the DOING, and just let my ongoing development of the spiritual side of me take care of the rest.
I'm not sure that Lesley would agree that this is the most secure way to pay the mortgage - but, I know from first-hand experience that if you spend too much time doing stuff that you HAVE to do...then it's so much more difficult to accept that what you WANT to do is the best thing you can do for your long-term happiness, success, and well-being.
We'll just have to find out and see, won't we?

You've Already Got Your 'Plan'...Now Go And Use It!
This the Sixth Part in a series.
If you haven't done so I would strongly suggest that you read the previous parts along with their comments...
1 - God And Wealth. What's The Connection Here?
2 - Stepping Further Into The Hornet's Nest...
3 - The Cursor's Flashing, Waiting For You To Mentally Login...
4 - How Can You Find Your Way In?
5 - It's There. Glistening In The Corner. Can You See It?
Ever had that feeling where you say to yourself...
"Now why didn't I think of that before?"
Well...that little speck in the corner has been there all along - just waiting for you to notice it.
At some point in your life you WILL see it - but, quite often, even though you might catch a glimpse...you often dismiss it.
It's been there...all along, in the back of your mind.
You know...coincidence, intuition, gut-feeling, a sense of awareness.
These are what I call the connections to the 'Universe'. Other people may say it's God.
Or, if perhaps even fate.
I do believe in fate...but I also believe that I can influence it.
And so should you, too.
That's why I started off talking about the fact that we are co-creators, you and I.
Unless WE do something...good, bad or indifferent - then we will just be an entrant into somebody else's life...instead of making our own happen.
There is, indeed, a 'plan' for you. That's why you're here after all.
But...its success isn't dependent on whether you 'believe' in a purely religious sense.
You don't need to read a bible to find out the 'keys' to leading a happy, contented, and successful life.
You don't...because you already KNOW how to do that!
Remember...it's there...glistening in the corner...waiting for you to 'get it'.
But, I very much doubt that you will see it unless you are FOCUS your eyes on the same 'wavelength' so that you can tune out from the grime...and see that clear path through to the other side.
But...how DO you get on that wavelength?
I think that you know already...except perhaps you dismiss it.
Your 'plan' is shaped around your innate skills and talents that you DO possess.
You know...those tasks that other people wish that they could do as easily as you.
It might be a 'creative' skill like being able to carve wood or write a novel.
Or it might be what I call a 'people' skill...where your ability to motivate, inspire, or move people is the essence of who you are. It could also be that you're great under pressure and can make decisions easily.
Or perhaps it might be a 'process' skill...where you can happily do all the things that most people hate like cleaning, doing accounts, or data entry.
It's not until you really LOOK for what you excel at that you begin to become more aware of 'more' - the 'Universe'.
The longer you practice at what you're good at...you can't help but begin to question WHY it comes so easily to you...and how you can make 'more' of it.
And...if you've got any sense...then you'll try your hardest to fill your day as much as possible with those things that come easily to you.
It's so much easier to see that gap in the grime when you're not constantly running around TRYING to be someone and do things that aren't YOU!
Money does an excellent job of getting in the way of YOUR plan...because quite often, the lure of acquiring more of it adds to the grime instead of clearing the path.
Too many people are so concerned with putting on their 'money goggles' that they don't see that what is already there - just waiting for them to see it.
It's easy to believe that money creates your lifestyle when in fact it hinders your progress towards a much more balanced and rewarding life.
It's much harder to believe that what you already possess is the key to what you already want and desire.
Yet it IS...but, because of the pressures of 'living'...you might not be able to see through your perceptions to find out what REALLY makes you happy and healthy.
That clear speck is there...the cursor on the computer is blinking and waiting.
All you need to do now is start to look inwards instead of outwards for what you want.
Only then will you have the power to begin to co-create the life that you really want instead of unwittingly co-creating the life that you DON'T want.
To be continued...

It's There. Glistening In The Corner. Can You See It?
This the Fifth Part in a series.
Feelings...now there's a thought.
You may be wondering what feelings have to do with paying the bills...or leading a happy and successful life.
Well, in a word - everything!
The very essence of who were are, and how happy we are with who we are is based on how we FEEL about ourselves and our situation.
How do YOU feel right now?
I mean - when you strip away what you guess about what other people MAY think about you - how do YOU really feel about how you've got on so far in your life?
Bet it's quite negative, right?
It's quite difficult to see the fantastic, amazing, and wonderful positives in your life when there is even one, tiny, niggling, negative standing in front of them all.
Why?
Well...you're looking through a window.
And that window is brown and dirty, and...no matter how much you try to clean it - you still can only see what IT allows you to see through the grime.
What that window on YOUR world is letting you see most clearly are those things that you THINK drive who and what you are...
- The weak points in your character.
- The constant negative comparison against everyone you meet.
- The need to buy things so that you get a glimpse of that 'rush' at that moment of purchase.
- The lure of wanting more and more, without really NEEDING anything more than you already have.
I think that you know what I mean.
All of this chasing and comparing is driving us forward alright.
But...to an entirely DIFFERENT destination than we, deep down, REALLY want!
Ever get that empty feeling when you're at home alone for a few days without having spoken to your friends or family?
You know - you've clicked through the TV channels, you've eaten all the chocolate, you've idly surfed your favorite websites.
Yet - you STILL feel 'bored' because SOMETHING is missing.
Then you get that voice in your head say - "I'm bored!"
All the 'toys', clothes, and goodies will never be enough to make you feel really content.
Sure...you may not be the sort of person who 'gets bored'...but in the end, I firmly believe that you'll drive yourself crazy if you lived alone with yourself long enough!
But...what IS boredom?
Why is it that thing that you so desperately wanted just yesterday in the store - doesn't 'do' much for you anymore?
Anyway...you've just stumbled across something else to buy that seems much more exciting.
Bet you've been there. Me...I was there just a couple of weeks ago!
It's not whatever you acquire that makes you feel good - it's the FEELINGS that you get from getting it that gives you the buzz.
It's almost as if you're missing out on something very important if you don't have it.
Well...you ARE missing out if you don't get it. You're missing those FEELINGS of...
- Satisfaction
- Achievement
- Reward
- Control
Which is why the lure of accumulating 'objects' is so great.
Those feelings are very powerful ones indeed.
Yet...they're clouding up your window.
They're acting like wipers that are just moving the dirt across the window instead of cleaning it.
No matter how many times you hear the swish-swish as those wipers desperately attempt to remove the dirt...you're still squinting, trying to see through to the other side.
Yet...in the corner.
Right there in the very bottom right-hand corner of your window.
There's a little speck of glass that is almost glistening. It's as clear as day.
You can't see it because you're too busy cursing your 'luck' that your window has become dirtier still.
Yet...that little clear speck of window has always been there...waiting for you to notice it.
Can you see it now?

How Can You Find Your Way In?
This the Fourth Part in a series.
Let's forget about creation for a moment.
To be honest...it's irrelevant to me to 'know' whether A God, THE God, or the Universe created the earth, the universe, and all living things.
I'm not concerned about 'in the beginning'.
All I need to get a handle on is NOW!
Even if I 'found' God - then that wouldn't change the material fact that I need to deal with LIVING on a day-to-day basis - within the parameters set by the Western society I choose to live in.
I STILL need to pay to buy food...I STILL want to run a car and live in a nice house.
It doesn't matter HOW religious or spiritual YOU are - you STILL need to 'survive', don't you?
YOUR way of 'dealing' with what live throws at YOU will undoubtedly be different to how I deal with what life throws at ME.
Yet...we both need to think about WHY we are here.
Or perhaps, more importantly, think about the answer to that question we may have asked often enough in the past -
"Why ME?"
Why IS it that some people can go through life without a care in the world and always 'land on their feet'...when WE quite often find live a struggle?
Is it because they BELIEVE in God...or is it because they believe in THEMSELVES first?
How is it that some people can just login to that 'Universal computer'...and literally always get what they want?
- Is it because they set goals?
- Is it because they believe in hard work?
- Is it because they pray regularly?
- Is it because they say affirmations?
- Is it because they take risks?
Well...in a word...NO!
The funny thing where success is concerned is that it's all down to OTHER peoples' perception.
Can you honestly believe that...
- Because Bill Gates is the richest man in the world - he is the happiest?
- Because Mother Theresa saw abject poverty day after day she was miserable?
- Because a man is lost in the desert - getting money is so much more important than just finding water?
When all is said and done...the ONLY way you can become TRULY successful is if you are finding it on YOUR own terms.
Which is where the problems start...as most people are conditioned for competition and comparison...
- How much money do you earn?
- What job do you do?
- What car do you drive?
- How many bedrooms does your house have?
THESE are the forever moving 'targets' that we TRY and reach...not realizing until we go PAST them...that perhaps they're now not good enough!
At eighteen - I would have felt like a rich man if I had been earning what I did at thirty.
So - why, at thirty, when I WAS earning a nice salary - why did I feel more cash poor and TIME poor than I ever had done?
Chasing a moving target always gives one result - you never hit it.
You ONLY hit it when you realize that it doesn't HAVE to be moving. In fact...you might ALREADY be so close to it to reach it.
But...until you're aware that you alone can NEVER reach it, then it will continue to move in your mind.
Remember...that cursor's flashing in your mind...just waiting for you to find YOUR 'password'.
Don't be fooled into thinking that there is only ONE way in.
There are as many ways 'in' as there are successful people who found THEIR way in.
Yet...I firmly believe that at least 99.9% of the most successful (note - not necessarily WEALTHY) people on Earth couldn't even TELL you HOW they 'did it'.
They could tell you WHAT they did...but HOW they did it would certainly be a lot more difficult to put into words.
And...I bet that a fair percentage of them don't even BELIEVE in religion, spirituality, or the 'Universe' at all!
They just happened to find the way 'in' that worked for them to the degree that circumstances in their lives began to conspire (or perhaps ASPIRE) to help them.
That's why you hear stories about millionaires who lost it all - yet a few years later - made it all over again in a completely different business.
Because they know HOW.
That's why the statistics show that most Lotto winners are back where they started within a few short years.
Because they DON'T know HOW.
It's NOT about 'taking action'...we can all do that...and, there are many people who DO take action that are some of the poorest people in society.
Working harder and longer is NOT the answer.
The answer lies between your ears...but elsewhere. You have a connection to a stream of information you couldn't possibly find out for yourself.
But...you will NEVER work out HOW to access it unless you STOP trying to do things somebody elses' way.
You may be told that, unless you believe in God...you can't possibly get what you want.
You may be told that, unless you repeat affirmations twice a day then your rightful success will be denied you.
You may be told that, unless you keep a task list then you will never amount to much.
Well...I, for one, don't do ANY of those three things...and my life is more happy, balanced, and successful than it ever has been.
Yet I don't earn as much money as I have done in the past.
But...that doesn't MATTER.
Why?
Well...once you realize that it's YOU that matters - then a lot of decisions become a lot easier...and the HOW becomes so much more easier to understand.
WE are connected...you and I. Yet...I will say to you - don't do what I do.
Do what YOU do...and do it well...and do it for YOU!
God, the Universe or whatever you may want to call 'it' will move ONLY when YOU do.
And...quite often...you may well be looking in one direction instead of FEELING for it in another.

The Cursor's Flashing, Waiting For You To Mentally Login...
This entry follows on from the first two which I suggest you read first (along with their associated comments):
1 - God And Wealth. What's The Connection Here?
2 - Stepping Further Into The Hornet's Nest...
In the last week I have been called ignorant, naive, foolish, confused, and perhaps even bitter about losing Connor...which apparently may be the reason why I am 'against' God.
I've also made a lot of sense to others.
All fascinating stuff...and I welcome YOUR opinion, whatever it may be.
Neither of us may seem to be 'right' in the eyes of each other...we just have our beliefs that form our opinions of what we THINK we know.
And...to be honest...life would be boring if we all believed exactly the same thing!
So...where NEXT on our little 'journey'?
Well...now that we are aware (whether we believe in A God or not) - that we are connected...then it makes sense that we should begin to look at how we can translate that into REAL life.
After all...aren't we ALL looking for 'answers'...whatever we believe?
For those of us who don't want to read a bible - then we need to be aware that we can still ACCESS the 'Universe' without feeling that we MUST go via religion.
And...still understand that we are not 'missing' something, just because we don't want to pray or attend a church, synagogue, or mosque.
Just because we don't believe in THE God (whatever form He, She, or It, may take)...then we can STILL believe that we are part of something that doesn't have a (supposed) direct relationship with the REAL world we live in.
To my limited 'religious' knowledge, it seems that ALL religious (and many 'key' non-religious) texts echo a similar version of the same 'message'...
“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think, we become.”
- Buddha (568-488 BC)
“As a man thinketh…so is he.”
The Bible
“Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking.”Marcus Aurelius (121-180 AD)
(Now perhaps some of the more religious people reading this may understand that I AM 'singing from the same hymn-sheet' as they are!)
Yet...in OUR 21st Century world...we're occupied with the TANGIBLE things in life...
- The house
- The car
- The TV
- The stereo
- The money
(Sidenote : Mind you...what's fascinating to me now is that money is more 'virtual' than it ever has been...as we actually hold 'real' money in our hands very rarely in comparison to the amount of transactions we make. But that's another article!)
So...here we are...constantly trying to ACCUMULATE material items and wealth...which in the grand scheme of things...isn't necessarily a 'bad' thing.
But...instead of these things freeing up our time, and making our lives more enjoyable...we are constantly jumping from one acquisition to another.
Running round the hamster-wheel.
We THINK that we NEED a bigger TV or a more powerful car...so that's what we focus our energies on.
And...because we constantly THINK about getting more 'stuff'...it takes up more TIME in our lives as we try to work to earn more to FULFIL that need.
And end up...just running faster around the hamster wheel.
Many believers and non-believers are doing EXACTLY the same...and ending up with the same results.
Whatever your religious denomination...or whether you don't believe in ANY religion...we've been kidded that the route to ultimate happiness is in what we OWN.
Praying for help from God won't solve your problems unless you are THINKING about what you WANT instead of what you wish that you didn't have!
Whether it's God or the 'Universe'...doesn't matter.
Unless you believe in YOURSELF and think accordingly then nothing much will change in your life.
Many people have got 'annoyed' (for want of a better word) about me saying that we are 'co-creators' of our life.
We ARE.
How?
Well...if God alone was left to create MY ideal future...then I might as well not be here!
To me...the 'Universe' is like this computer that you're reading this message on right at this very moment.
On its own...it can't do very much unless you PROGRAM it to DO something.
Yet...it's CAPACITY for DOING is only LIMITED by the person who designs the PROGRAM.
In essence...the capability of MY computer probably isn't very different to yours...yet, if you still BELIEVE that your computer can only hold a maximum of a single document in its memory - then whatever I say to convince you otherwise will be irrelevant...until you FIND OUT for yourself that it can hold a whole lot more.
I personally believe that there IS a 'computer' out there that is called the 'Universe' that I CAN 'program' to bring results into my life.
I don't believe that there is ONE computer that is password-protected that has restricted access - login ID : God, Password : God.
Whether YOU believe in religion or not - you CAN have access on YOUR 'computer'...but only if you can REMEMBER your login ID and password!
I say remember because I believe that we are in-built with a capacity to ACCESS the 'Universe'...whether we do that THROUGH organized religion or not doesn't matter.
YOU have an innate ability to create your OWN 'programs' that end up mapping out your life.
Whether you login via a 'third-party' or not via religion is not the issue here.
The issue is whether you're ready to accept that there is a lot of what goes on inside your head that NOBODY can explain.
The first step to finding out a path that WORKS for YOU is understanding that there is a computer screen waiting for you to login to.
The cursor is flashing...waiting for you to mentally login.
Whichever way you find to DO so...it doesn't matter.
If you want to have a greater influence on the outcome of YOUR life...you need to find a way to do so.
A way that works for YOU.

Stepping Further Into The Hornet's Nest...
If you haven't already read 'Part 1'...you can do so here -
God And Wealth. What's The Connection Here?
It's fascinating to see how the use of only words typed onto a computer screen can bring out some many varied and fascinating comments!
It's also not surprising to find that the INTENTIONS of some of my words do not always appear in the way that they form in my mind.
So...perhaps I should clarify an element or two.
God.
Just those three little words cause our emotions either to rise or fall depending on what we have believed in our lives up until this very point.
Now...I mentioned that I am not a believer in God.
But...perhaps what I failed to clarify is that, I believe that WE are PART of 'something'.
Therefore...if we are PART of something we ARE it (in the broadest sense, of course)
We are therefore co-conspirators on our race for a journey with an end - our lives. Or perhaps more accurately - co-CREATORS.
You see...I DO believe.
Except that I don't believe in a 'judge' that presides over what we do...I believe in a 'Universe' that we are part of that DIRECTS what we do - based on the messages we send it.
Of course...many of these messages may well have links to the Bible...or whatever book of the religion you may follow.
It's a sad fact that quite often...too many people get caught up in WHOSE messages are the 'true' ones...when it's the OVERALL message that is important.
Even still...many of these messages may not necessarily be the RIGHT ones.
Why?
Well...ANYTHING that is written, spoken, or otherwise communicated goes through a filter.
That filter is PERCEPTION.
Who's to say that the author of one particular religious work is 'right'...when another is 'wrong'?
Who's to say that the author of one particular PART of a religious work didn't (perhaps unwittingly) see the 'story' as they believed it to be?
Of course...WE can't prove that either way...so OPINIONS rule.
Mine is right for me. Yours is right for YOU.
And...we, as human beings, continue to INFLUENCE our own lives (not always for the better.)
Whether we 'believe' or not.
Believing is not the answer to everybody's 'problems'.
If it was...every single 'believer' who prayed would lead the life they want. They don't.
Every single person who meditated would be happy and successful. They aren't.
So...for us 'non-believers' - this raises the question of WHY?
For example...In order for me to live in this society...I need to get out of bed in the morning...and think about how to earn a living to pay my bills.
Whether I believed in God or not - I would still end up with the same result.
The Universe won't take care of you and I unless we actually make some effort ourselves.
Whether you believe that there is a single overseeing God or not...our lives are affected by cause and effect.
Praying for a better life won't GET me that better life unless I truly BELIEVE that I DESERVE a better life....and am willing to take ACTION towards it.
But...taking ACTION on its own isn't good enough, either.
Most of us spend huge amounts of our time IN action...yet never make something with our lives.
Until we realize that we are connected on two different levels...
1) To each other
2) To OUR 'God', 'Universe', 'Intention'...whatever you may want to call it
For people like me who have been put off of religion...it takes some serious effort to get PAST religion...and get to SPIRITUALITY.
For example...as I am writing this...I know that I, alone, aren't responsible for what I am writing. I'm not clever enough for that.
Until I begin each sentence...I haven't got a CLUE what I am going to write...yet it comes.
Because I KNOW.
I know that what I'm writing may well mean that thousands of people unsubscribe overnight because they see that I don't 'believe' in God.
I know that if my family ever read this...they would probably want to question my sanity.
Yet...I also know that, because I am LISTENING...then I need to get the 'message' out.
What message?
Well...the message that...it doesn't matter that you don't believe in A God where leading a happy and successful life is concerned.
It matters that you believe that there is more to life than DOING...and accept that perhaps you CAN influence the outcome of your life by suspending disbelief about what exists outside of the 'real' world.
Whether you believe in religion or spirituality is irrelevant.
Your aim should be the same...
To use everything that you have at your disposal to help create the life you really want.

God And Wealth. What's The Connection Here?
Question:
"What is your opinion about God and His Christ in terms of wealth creation, is He important and what role does He play?"
Answer:
Even though they always say never talk about politics or religion...I can't help myself!
This topic is particularly close to my heart as I am a non-believer. There...I've said it!
Why?
Well...to be honest, during my childhood, it seemed that I had religion almost forced upon me which put me off of the idea of there being an all-seeing God out there.
Remember...this is MY viewpoint. (And one, whichever way you may try - I will not be swayed from - which is where many people go wrong by trying to 'convert' others)
Let's make this clear - I am NOT 'against' organized religion. For many people it has a place in their lives which is great if it works for them. Just because it has a place in THEIR lives...it doesn't HAVE to have a place in mine or anyone else's.
Like with being successful - forcing someone into believing is one thing - but THEY are the ones who are still responsible for taking action backed up by that belief.
A lot of organised religions go wrong by painting 'their' God as someone who will punish you if don't do 'x'.
For me...this causes one huge problem because it allows many people not to accept RESPONSIBILITY for their own actions...and also makes people think negatively as they do someone through 'fear'.
In my book...ANY negative thought is a BAD thing and doesn't help in the slightest.
By the same token...if you believe in God and pray for divine intervention to 'save' you - then you're not using prayer in a way that it should be used (in my opinion).
Whether you believe or not...YOU are the SOLE creator of what happens in your life.
Which leads me on to my view as a 'non-believer'.
As I said...I'm not a believer in there being A God...but, since Connor came along and few unexplained things went one...I am a believer that there is SOMETHING.
Practically every single time that Connor was at a life-or-death situation - circumstances meant that either Lesley or I (or both of us) were in the 'right place at the right time'.
It's not a coincidence when things like this happen on a regular basis, I can tell you!
So...as a non-believer...this started to raise a few questions for me, which, to be quite frank - I couldn't answer!
So...I began to look inwards...and started listening more to my instinct for what I should do. I resigned from my well-paying job without any savings or prospective income - just because of that very same thing.
So...now...I'm building a picture of coincidence and gut feelings playing a role in my life...yet I still didn't believe.
Then prosperity kicked in.
By prosperity I don't mean in terms of unlimited MONEY - I mean in terms of PERCEPTION - which is a crucial thing.
My world changed on its axis when I realized that my life was more about WHO I am that what I did, or what I earned.
Yet...still I am a non-believer.
But...I DO believe that there IS a God...but WE are God. You and I.
As you are reading this...I am entering your brain and creating something.
- A memory
- A response
- A change in perception
- A reference to your current situation
How can I possibly do that - just by writing this? Well...I AM, aren't I?
At this point depending on whether you agree with what I am saying...I am creating an emotional response in YOUR head.
Scary, isn't it?
(That's why advertising works so well!)
In the same way that the books I read and the people that I meet FOREVER change my viewpoint on SOMETHING...I am doing EXACTLY the same with YOU.
(And me as well...because, when I write, strangely I always LEARN something - even though 'I' am the one writing it!)
Of course...this can be used in a negative sense by those people who promise you 'the Earth' and rip you off.
In any case...can you see the CONNECTION here?
Can you see (or feel) that, despite never having ever met me...you have a mental picture of who I am and what I sound like. Yet all I have done is write what I THINK.
And you have INTERPRETED that to build a picture, a perception, a view, in your mind.
Yet...YOUR picture may be completely different to the guy in a different country who has read EXACTLY the same things about me as you have.
Yet....I have still made that connection with them - albeit through a completely different set of 'filters' through which my words have to pass.
"That's fine Gary...", you may be saying, "But what has this got to do with a belief in God and wealth?"
Well...EVERYTHING!
The foundations have to be put into place before you build...and this is the first...accepting that WE do have a CONNECTION.
I can share more with you if you like...but only if you're interested, of course...
