Overcoming Those Negative Influencers
Only a short entry this week...as I am busy preparing the first Online Seminar for the "Our Wealth Partnership" newsletter subscribers.
It's due on Monday, and it's called "What To Do When You’re Desperate For Money And Can’t See A Way Out Of It" - and it contains eight simple and practical steps to help anyone get out of a debt mindset.
If you're a OWP newsletter subscriber...look out for it on Monday!
Also...this is what you will learn from the newsletter itself, which is being mailed today:
- The one sentence that will change the way you look at wealth forever
- Why chasing goals can actually be harming your chances of success
- Why focusing on that big breakthrough is closing off opportunities that are better suited to you
- How one never-quoted paragraph of Napoleon Hill's can produce life-changing results for you
- How the financial secret of compounding interest can be used to change your mindset
I was on the phone for a total of four hours today to a couple of people who are certainly creating a successful life for themselves in completely different areas.
What struck me was that I came away from both conversations inspired to do more, and with some new ideas to focus on.
Could YOU say that about the communication you have with other people?
Maybe not.
You see...I actually restrict the people I come into contact with.
By doing this I ensure that I have control over who can have an input in my life.
For example...I never answer the phone unless it's to someone who has a pre-arranged appointment with me.
And...you guessed it...the ONLY way they can pre-arrange an appointment is if I want them to!
That way, I only end up speaking to (and often working with) people whom I have chosen to allow into my life.
No time-wasters. No moaners. No negative people.
My life's too short to allow those sort of people to take up my time.
YOU may not be able to control the people whom you come into contact with like me, but you certainly have a degree of choice over whether you ALLOW their influence into your life.
The office gossip or nosey neighbor may get on your nerves and you can never get away from them...but, if you really think about it, it is surprisingly easy to just nod your head - and let whatever they say just wash over you!
Even better is just not getting involved in the first place.
Negative people influence your life more than you think that they do...so be careful about whom you let into your head, and how often you let them!
