Decisions, Actions...And Numbers
My brand new "Our Wealth Partnership" newsletter is released this coming Wednesday 1st November.
Click here to discover the answers to twelve very important questions about it...and two reasons why it's in your interest to get on the 'Early Bird' list.
I want to share with you why it is so important to make decisions, and how to take action on those decisions.
There are many, many, people who are better qualified, more talented, more ‘clever’, and more driven than me.
(And you!)
And…there are also many people who take action more than I do.
But (and I say this without bragging) – I am more successful than 95% of my peers, both in the Internet marketing industry, and the self-improvement industry.
I often wondered why – because, let’s face it, I’m nobody special about from being very passionate about what I do.
(There’s a huge clue for YOUR success there.)
I’m also nobody special apart from being able to make MANY decisions about what I want to do with my life.
And, I’m also happy to ditch ideas that don’t ‘work’ for me – even if I thought that they were the best thing ever when I came up with them.
If you’ve been a subscriber for some time…you may well be aware of at least six different websites/products/ideas that I have started – yet never really got off of the ground.
ALL of the most successful (and honest!) gurus I have met have a graveyard of ideas that never made it – yet they have STILL achieved great things despite this.
The more you learn about what motivates and inspires you (whatever job or task you do), the more you will be able to make yourself more ‘bullet proof’ from a negativity and lack mindset.

The more ideas you have about what you want from life, you will be more likely to align yourself with the person (or people) who can help you get there.

The more decisions you make, the bigger chance you have of making the right one.

The more action you take (based on those decisions – not just action for action sake), the more likely you will make just ONE of them succeed.

The more you realize that everything is more down to mindset and application of that mindset, rather than the technical aspects of the action you take – the easier it will be to do ALL of the above!
Does any of this make sense to you?
To be honest…it’s the first time that I have ‘dumped’ my thinking path into the written word in this way, and I’ve just realized for the first time that I DO really have a structure to my past (and future) successes!
And, in this case, it doesn’t matter whether you are a strict task-list monster, or ‘wing it’ a little like I do.
It’s all about the numbers.
In the same way that network marketers know that, if you get the message in front of enough people, the more chance you will get it in front of the RIGHT people.
In the same way that, once you find a process that works for you, you continue to evolve it, instead of jumping off when the ‘next big thing’ comes along.
(I’ve been as guilty as anyone else in this respect in the past!)
But…the problems occur when you aren’t really sure what you want from your life, or lack the confidence/belief to move towards a goal that you have identified.
Then you have to be careful of those ‘false gurus’, as I mentioned on the "The Truth About Becoming Wealthy" Online Seminar.
But, even then, it’s still a numbers game…as it may take you a few ‘false gurus’ to find one or two that can really help you make a difference in your life.
Of course it isn’t easy to remain focused on what you REALLY want out of your life…but it’s much easier to do so once you understand that, if you work the numbers in your favour, it’s not a case of if…but WHEN!

Self-Improvement, Accountability, And Why Masterminds Don't Work...
Wednesday 1st November. Just over three weeks away. Make a note of it in your diary.
I'm going to be sharing something with you that I know will make a *continuous* difference in your life.
I'll give you more details as we get closer to the time.
So...another two weeks has passed since I last wrote to you.
I've been a little lax in writing to you over the last few months because of two very important things...
1) I'm spending most of my time focusing on my December 31st deadline for the execution of my 100% hands-off passive revenue system. (which has nothing to do with self-improvement)
2) I've been taking some time to tie-down exactly where my strengths lie in the self-improvement arena, so that I can help you the most, at the same time as continuing to enjoy what I do. (which is why November 1st is an important day)
It's easy to do stuff 'just because...'
Yet...it's not until you are doing it for the tenth time you realize that you aren't enjoying it anymore that it becomes a 'challenge' to keep delivering to the best of your ability.
For example...I used to write on this blog almost every single day for TWO YEARS...yet now I sometimes find it a challenge to write every two WEEKS!
Partly because I got out of the habit...but also because it was something I challenged myself to be disciplined to do.
Like in 2005 when I decided that I would earn $200,000 completely passive revenue (not from my self improvement business!) during that year. (I reached my target by August...and taught my wife to do the same...and she earned a similar amount, too!)
Similarly...I made the decision in April to lose some weight...and now I'm around fifty pounds lighter...and much more healthy because of it.
And like when I wrote in my success journal last year that I would earn more in two hours than I did in my last year of 'working for a living' in 2001...and I achieved that in February.
Over the years I have spent a lot of time training to be accountable to myself for achieving the goals I set.
But, I'm sure that you'll agree...it's not always easy to do that.
I know from experience that I certainly don't achieve every goal I set myself - but I certainly make a damn good effort at trying!
You might be like me, and can use your own mind to make yourself accountable for success...or you might sometimes have difficulties in following through.
I realized (properly) a few months ago...that, even though I have achieved a great deal myself...I STILL need other people who aren't 'emotionally attached' to my outcome to keep pushing me (as YOU do, too.)
That's why, in conjunction with a few friends in the Internet world, I set up a Master Mind group that will really come into full swing early next year.
BUT...it's not just me and a bunch of my mates getting together under a label called a 'Mastermind' (as many gurus out there proclaim to create - at the same time as spelling it incorrectly!).
Nope. You see...I've spent too much time reading, analyzing, applying...and helping other people implement, Napoleon Hill's Law of Success to understand HOW and WHY it works.
It doesn't work.
Well...it MIGHT work for certain people if you manage (by chance) to get the people in the group right.
That's why I purposely SELECTED those people in my small group (in conjunction with the OTHER people in the group) to ensure that we all had KEY strengths in different areas to each other.
In other words...we're not getting together because we are good at the same things - we're getting together because we are not so good at things that another member of the group EXCELS at.
And...you can't possibly make this work at the level Napoleon Hill intended by just throwing a group of people together because they happen to be at the same seminar together, or are able to afford the cost of 'participation'.
I think you can see what I mean!
So...even though I KNOW I will continue to achieve great things in my life...I also know that there are some things that I would probably NEVER get around to doing because they aren't my strengths.
And...because they aren't my strengths - then I know that it will be a massive challenge to keep myself accountable to achieving them.
And that is also why that, even though I am hugely successful by most peoples' standards, I know that I STILL need other people to keep me on track in a way that I can't do myself.
A little like what I do here with YOU when what I write really makes sense to you!
So enough about me, and what makes me tick...
Just make a comment below and share it with us all...
