What Can I Help You To Achieve?

I have just a very short message for you to think about (and comment on!) this week.

"What can I do to help YOU achieve what you want from life?"

This isn't a pitch for an upcoming product, nor some subliminal mind-trick to get you to invest in my current products.

I've been writing this ezine for over five years, have written almost 800 posts on this blog, give you a free ecourse over at To Our Success, have written a few ebooks, a home study course, and have a printed newsletter.

Yet so few people are taking advantage of the help I make available...and I want that to change!

This is why this question is your opportunity to tell me what I can do for you. It's designed to :

- Help you focus on what you really want
- Help me understand your needs better so that I can tailor what I provide more for you

So...the stage is yours...

"What can I do to help YOU achieve what you want from life?"

Please comment below and let me know...

Hi Gary; I have been getting information from a couple of sources, but no one tells you what you need to do to start an on-line business. I want to start an on- line business but don't have a notion what I need to do to start from scratch. First off you need to sell something but I don't have anything to sell. If you take someone that just wanted to start a business what would be the first thing you tell them? You could start an e-course for dummies about how to start a business. (Pick me for your example :) I have talked to other people about this and they are in the same boat as I. Show me the way Gary! Thank you!!

I must admit that your question startled me a bit. I enjoy reading your newsletters. What you can give me is the encouragement that you have already done. The rest is my job. I am into the second half of my life, the first half was being a mom to four kids and a wife with built in security and its problematic life. Now for the last 15 years I am on my own. I am a Realtor/Promoter and doing my best to find my way. Remember that not everything is about rejecting what you have to offer. My old partner Rich always said , We all have our little red wagons to pull. That is all I can say. You are doing the encouraging and I read everything. The doing is mine to do. And I am doing.. Thanks Marie

Ok, you asked for it -----

Gary, I've been receiving your emails for a month or so now, after searching the Web for daily success/personal development posts that will help to keep me motivated and moving in the right direction (a subject I'm writing my own ebook about).

I will tell you that I have felt motivated, uplifted by your thought-provoking posts. I have not purchased anything from your site, although I have visited briefly a couple of the Web sites you've recommended. At this point though, I don't know if I've contributed to your success at the same level that you've contributed to mine. I do appreciate your service, but the timing isn't there for me to purchase anything.

I am not automatically assuming your goal is to make money off of me, but at the same time, there's something to be said about reciprocity when building success. Your mantra at the top of this page says 'only by working together can we achieve success - together.' So I have a question for you, one that I genuinely do not know the answer to:

If I'm not ready to buy something from you and by so doing invest in myself by investing in an item of value provided by you, thereby benefiting you and creating a bond of reciprocity between us, is there something else that we can do to create a symbiotic relationship that vests each of us in the success of the other? And it's by no means limited to financial success -- the answer to that question just might end world hunger. We all know there's enough money to do it, so why haven't we?

I look forward to hearing your thoughts. James Wirth

The things I wish for help with the most are; in this order: enjoying the work social intelligence focus/concentration

I really enjoyed the daily emails with inspiring ideas in them. Lately I admit to not reading them as they have been more about trying to sell me something. (i'm sure you appreciate honesty) I would definately pay to subscribe to your motivational emails, or for access to a group forum. I'm less likely to buy a book sight unseen from the internet. Hope this helps!

I'm interested in helping the world become a much better place in which to live. I'm hoping that people here are of like mind. It simply is NOT all about money! YOU rose above MANY who e-mail me because YOUR VOICE rang true! It resonated and spoke to me. I hope that the future will demonstrate unequivocally that we share the same vision for the world - all while making money in the process! The goals are certainly NOT mutually exclusive, but ... I think the world needs desperately to hear from people who care. We ALL need to make a living, but it is HOW we CHOOSE to do so that is MOST important to me. Take care, Gary ... and please listen to YOUR OWN voice and not to the voices of those who put money before ALL else.

I sense I understand how to use the Law of Attraction - at least I think I do however, I find I'm easily pulled off the task - I lose focus easily. Is maintaining focus just a matter of practice or is there something else I could be doing that would help me demonstrate what I desire in my life.

I think that I have too much information, and not the focus to just do one thing. I've been getting emails from gurus and masters and self improvement authors for a few years now. Every once in a while I have an "aha!! " moment that strikes a nerve. Some how I need to stop reading and start doing! Ok, that's my plan. More action, less motivation! Thanks!

What I want to achieve from life is my Freedom, my Liberation, my Peace Of Mind! Freedom, Liberation and Peace Of Mind from the ties that bind.

Freedom from doing what I do at work, hour after hour, day after day, week after week, month after month and year after year.

Should I have mentioned the seconds and then the minutes too?

My passion is trading the financial markets...I love the solitude, I love looking at the charts, I love to calculate figures using excel, I love to solve problems, I love to create, I love to succeed. That is what I enjoy doing.

I am slowly but surely breaking away from the 10 til 4, three and one half days a week (in my case). I worked out a formula to achieve just as much (in that space of time) as my colleagues would, working 9 til 5 over a period of 2 to 3 weeks.

The above is not to brag or boast but to let you know how I have structured my life to date, after working many years in the same industry.

What I receive at the end of every month, is classed as a good wage by many but nowhere worth the concentration and effort I/we put in, compared to what I/we get out.

Am I also speaking for those of us who know we can do better? I intend to!

We are worth so much more than what we receive for what we give, if we give...

Financial and Spiritual Freedom (plus more to mention, should I write again) is my destiny.

These goals or targets are not consciously chosen as far as I am aware, it's just a driving force within me.

Working for others takes up my time, it steals from my true potential to do great things for myself in the core hours that I can do great things for myself...

"Work Is The Biggest Restrictor Of Men's (& Women's) Minds!" A saying I once heard as uttered by Tony Hancock in one of his half hour sketches.

The above statement I believe...

I do great things for the company, as I am told and it is the truth but they are really not truly great things for me. They are doing their best to keep me comfortable with their perks, which is nothing but a hinderance.

I often read what you write, I have not bought anything from you as yet. I read and absorb what you write, say and think but now you have asked the question which prompts a response from me:

"What can I do to help YOU achieve what you want from life?"

There is a power within me (us) which needs to be released (I can literally feel it). At work, I no longer desire to use that power like I used to. I'm saving it for me, I'm saving it for the world outside of work. I am saving it and using it for my world within.

Now you know what fills my mind and life every waking and sleeping hour, what can you do to help ME further achieve what I want from my life?

How can YOU help ME take the next step?

What Is The Next Thing That I Need To Do, Or What Action Do I Need To Take That Will Help Me To Bring Forth My Desire?

This is a question from me and I believe, from all of us!

Thanks! Wilson

HI Gary, Well my goal is to become a professional golfer. I am too old by "normal" standards but I believe that "It is never too late to be what you might have been." I am working towards it but it is difficult to have a normal "9 to 5" job and have enough time to practice. I would like to be able to work from home and have more freedom so that I can practice my golf and get it to the level where I can compete internationally and on the different professional tours. This is a bit different from the other coments you received. I hope it makes sense and that this is what you were asking? Thanks.

Hi Gary, Like most people I yearn for good health, love and happiness in my life. On a more specific note, I am looking forward to the day (next July) I finally finish my Bachelor's degree after which I intend relocating from Sydney to Brisbane where I hope to find my dream home and a wonderful circle of friends to share good times with as well as embarking on a successful teaching career. In addition, I'll be more than ready and receptive to meeting a beatiful "significant other", if not soulmate. That's not asking too much, surely...

Hi, Gary Are you serious? You could help me achieve my goal of selling a hundred copies a week of my $7 e-book if you want to. By coincidence (or not), I've been looking for the right kind of person to help me with this and, as it happens, you would definitely be in that category. Let me know if this is the kind of thing you have in mind and I'll send you a copy of my e-book to look at. With best wishes, Bob Collier The Parental Intelligence Newsletter www.parental-intelligence.com

What can I say. I hear myself in all of the above comments. I truly beleive in the law of attraction on many different levels. I also fully understand the need to take action in order to be successful. Do I need money to bring my dreams into reality? A resounding Yes. Is it all about money? A resounding No Knowing those two facts creates a tremendeous conflict and to be honest makes me very leary of all the "help" that is offered especially when the bottom line is buy my product. Perhaps a choice is in order. I have a very rich life but struggle financially. I am not poor but do not have the financial freedom I desire. My action is to pick and choose from what keeps coming my way (especially as I asked) with the hope that I actually move forward. Thanks for the listening ear.

What I would like you do is give me more direct advice and an immediate suggestion of what I can do to get started on this change I need to make in my life. The reason I started reading your column was because of the great advice now it appears that I always need to buy something.

Hi Gary, Thanks for all the information that I have devoured for over a year. I now understand that I have all the tools that I need to make a success of my life. The problem is how do I know what I really want to do. I have even done the Millionaire Mindset Workbook and I'm still not sure. I would appreciate assistance in finding my passion. Also how do I re-program my subconcious and rid myself of old habits & thoughts.

Hi Gary - I really connected with your favourite quote from Jim Rohn about time being more valuble than money. I my own case, I think I have identified a choke point with my personal development and goal attainment. It's a fear barrier if you will, that for whatever reason I am afraid to 'step' beyond. I have surrounded myself with positive affirmations which I repeat daily, have identified my major objective and set goals. However, I can feel the negative energy from this fear which sometimes awakens me early morning. Using Prosperity thinking I manage to quiet my mind and focus on what I want, but this barrier is always there. I seem to have become a master of procrastination - putting off what I know I should be doing for fear of failure. How do overcome this paralysis and achieve what I know is possible for me? Thank you
