Won For All...And All For Won

Lesley and I went to the film "Bruce Almighty" which stars Jim Carrey.

Although not a classic film by any means...I still strongly suggest that you go see it because of what you can learn from it.

Jim Carrey is entrusted with God's powers after he claims that God doesn't care anymore.

Now...you would think that all of his problems would be solved...but, having the answers to all of his prayers results in him ending up more depressed than when he started!

Now..of course, there is a schmaltzy happy ending...but, along the way I found that there were a few excellent lessons that we both could learn from the film.

Things like...

- YOU have a unique set of talents...so USE them!
- Happiness doesn't come from having all of your prayers answered.
- Be careful what you wish for...because it may not be what you really want.

And...there's many more.

It's good to find a positive film with a 'success' message behind it!

So...go and 'waste' a couple of hours watching it...and look for the 'signs'!
