So...WHO are YOU, Really?

I want to ask you a question...

WHO are you?

Now...practically EVERY person that I have asked this question replies with WHAT they do for a living!

Do you?

And that's the problem!

You are automatically positioning yourself as a person who 'fits' in the stereotype of what your job is like.

So...for example...if you respond that you ARE a clerk...then you are subconsciously reinforcing the fact that you are the stereotypical clerk.

You know...someone who might be at the bottom of the corporate ladder whose earnings ceiling might only ever reach $30,000.

Is that WHO you really ARE (or want to be?)

Think about it!

You could be a clerk with an MBA...or a clerk with no qualifications at all...but that isn't WHO you are!

Now...I can't TELL you who YOU really are...you'll have to work that out for yourself.

But...please...please...don't 'pigeon-hole' yourself into a particular role or job description.

It's too limiting...and it is guaranteed to hold you back!

So...WHO are YOU?
