To that list of "leave behinds", I would add arrogance, narrow-mindedness, apathy, and disrespect.
Any other "leave behinds" you can think of? Please send them to me. I'll start a collection. Then I'll study, inventory, catalog and organize the collection for future reference. Finally, I'll lock it up in a storage space so I can refer back to it occasionally when I might need to reopen the experience to help others. But mostly, I'll be grateful that I've got them locked up where they belong.
Then when I discover some of the more refined, insidious versions of these degenerative handicaps on my journey, I'll have just the place to put them in my collection.
When I know what they are and how to keep them secured and organized for reference, then I can not only go wherever I want at maximum speed, I'll also know the best places to go.
