I went to see "Matrix Reloaded" today...and, although it sometimes seemed that I was watching a video game...is was a good and enjoyable film.
But...of course, films like this one get me thinking! lol
I won't go into the basic premise behind the films...but some of the ideas that it suggests how we are literally 'plugged into' our world (being a computer-generated 'matrix') are certainly relevant where success is concerned.
This sequel suggested that although we are always resigned to some form of fate...we can influence our path along the way by the choices we make.
It's simple...but powerful, stuff.
What choices did you make today that will influence your tomorrow?
It's a serious question that you should ask yourself every day.
Your life is, by default, based on the decisions that you made yesterday, last week, last year, twenty years ago.
But...let me ask you something.
What if all of your choices were the RIGHT ones for you? What - even the bad ones?
Oh yes! Especially the bad ones!
How else would you have learned how to do something without first failing at it?
I'm not for a moment suggesting that you should revel in your failures...just that you should just accept them for what they really are - learning experiences!
Remember...if your past choices have got you to where you are today...imagine where today's choices can get you if you focus on making the ones that are right for you!
And the ones that are right for you are the ones that lead you to where you really want to go.
What...you don't know where you want to go...well you'd better decide soon otherwise how can you expect yourself to make the right choices, then?
