My wife (Lesley) has been quite ill and bed-ridden for the last couple of days and I have been in full charge of the kids and the housework. It takes me three times longer than Lesley to do the household chores - and it always seems to take so much more effort when I'm not really motivated to do it.
It made me realise that there are certain 'jobs' that I could never happily do to my full potential. Don't make the same mistake if you are looking to get out of your 9-5. Never take on a job or task that doesn't suit you - no matter how 'exciting' it may be, or how 'rich' other people have become because of it. It amazes me how many people bend themselves to fit a job, rather than finding a job that fits them.
Work out what you're good at (and don't mind doing) - then find a way to make an income from it.
