The Joy Of Getting Your Priorities Right.

Yet again my 7 p.m. cut-off time comes and goes!

If I were a single man without any responsibilites then I would no doubt spend all day and all night sitting in front of a PC screen.

But I'm not. My life has a purpose other than that of a becoming a millionaire. Having all of the money in the world may buy you more material things - but it can never, ever buy you a family.

I have had less than 12 hours sleep in three nights because of Connor becoming unwell. So - I haven't been able to do as much work as I would of liked. It would be easy to blame him and my circumstances - but I know where my priorities are. Where family and business are concerned - there is only one winner (and no - it's not the business!)

Do you know where your priorities are?

- Do you work an extra hour in the evening at the expense of spending time with your kids? (Why not get in earlier instead?)
- Do you take your spouse for granted? (We've all been guilty of that!)
- Do you value your TV more than you value your health? (I know - it's easy to do)

What I am trying to say is that unless you have friends, family, food, drink, and your health - it won't matter if you're poor or a millionaire - you'll be miserable!

Take some time to think about it. Don't get seduced by the lure of wealth at the expense of 'life'. You'll never hear someone on their deathbed say - "I wish that I had spent less time with my kids" or "I wish that I could have worked longer hours".

Get your priorities in their rightful places. Take it from me - there's no better way to live.
