How I Know How Successful You Will Be...

It could have been such a frustrating day...

But I wasn't going to let it happen.

My ezine is published every Friday. Period.

I am proud of the fact that, vacation aside, I have managed to 'gear' my entire working week towards its successful completion and delivery.

But not today.

The website that runs my Listserver has been down all day - and that means that I have been unable to do all of the necessary work to enable me to send out this week's issue.

Yet again - I have been let down by a third party - yet it reflects badly on me!

But...life's like that!

Sure - I wouldn't be human if I wasn't disappointed - but instead I used the time to do some other constructive work that I would have had to do anyway.

Don't let a setback paralyze you.

When these sort of things happen to you - just accept that don't have control over the current situation - and just get on and do something else instead.

Shouting and getting stressed about it will not solve the problem. You need to make sure that you just 'get into gear' - and just carry on.

Sometimes life can be frustrating. Sometimes things happen that really bug (for want of a better word! lol) you.

It's not what happens to you that measures how successful you'll be - it's how you react to what happens to you.

So - I've now got to work over the weekend - but at least I've managed to do some work that I had scheduled for Monday - so it's certainly not a bad thing.

Don't get dragged down by defeat - you'll stand a much better chance of succeeding if you fight your way out of the corner!
