Christmas is upon us yet again...
It means so many things to so many people...
It's a positive thing. A negative thing. Stressful. Fun. Happy. Sad. Expensive. Value for Money.
Doesn't that give you some idea of how every single one of us uniquely views what is, in fact, a relatively 'simple' experience?
We all have experienced those Christmases where we have to 'play along' because of the children...or because of the in-laws.
What most of us don't realise is that we 'play along' during the rest of the year as well! We never seem to fulfil our undoubted potential...why?
Society places boundaries, expectations, 'requirements', upon us all. A lot of the time we don't even realise that we are constantly competing with our neighbors or our family...or our peers.
How can you possibly compare yourself against ANYONE else?
You are UNIQUE...that you cannot deny. But...if that is the case...you will never shape up against anyone else in this world.
You will be better than a lot of people at some things...and worse at a lot of things than a lot of people!
Don't compare yourself against anyone or anything...because in your mind you will ALWAYS come off worse!
Christmas is a time for celebration...so celebrate being YOU!
