The 'Ouch That Hurts' Method Of Positive Thinking

At this very moment I have an elastic band around my right wrist.

Why?

Well...I figured that it was about time that I tried to stop ANY negative thought from entering my head.

So - every time I think a thought that isn't positive - I stop myself and twang! - that elastic band!

This isn't a new device - and I am sure that you have heard of it before.

When I got up this morning - I thought that I would try it - just to see what happens. The twangs have become a little less as the day has worn on, that's for sure! (Because they DO hurt! lol)

I went for a walk this morning to get the newspaper (unusually - because I normally drive). It was raining, but not too heavy - so I thought - "Why Not?"

But (and this is the strange thing)...guess what I saw at FIVE different points along my ten minute walk?

Elastic Bands - just lying on the floor!

Now...is that a message or what?
