It's Katie's 7th Birthday today.
She loved every minute of opening her presents...and her party with over 40 of her friends.
Isn't it amazing how kids just 'live in the moment'?
They enjoy the 'now' and all the excitement that comes with it...and spend very little time worrying about the 'when'.
When we grow up we soon get caught up with expectation, responsibility, and self-esteem issues that make us less of an 'achiever' than when we were only a kid.
Sad really, isn't it?
Imagine how fantastic it would be to be able to just enjoy life for what it is - rather than what it should be.
True - money is a huge factor when we consider how different we are from when we were kids...the worries about earning a decent wage...and being able to pay the bills.
But...what if we could forget about that - just for a short period of time each day?
What if we could just enjoy the NOW instead of fretting about our future?
Wouldn't that be a great thing to do - just for a little bit...just reliving how much we used to enjoy just being ourselves...and getting full 'value' from every experience we have?
Don't you think that would be a worthwhile thing to do?
